Residences at Government Center will consist of two affordable housing apartment buildings, daycare facility, and a below ground parking garage in place of the existing parking lot at the Fairfax County Government Center. There will be two 5 story buildings with below ground garages. They will be used for multifamily residential purposes. The combined building area of the north building is 362,456 sq ft with 144 residential units, while the south building will consist of 362,456 sq ft with 135 residential units. The height of both buildings will be 75 ft. In between both buildings there will be a courtyard with plenty of green and play areas.
